This is a FREE pattern.

SUPPLIES
Size D/3.25mm Crochet Hook
Small amount worsted weight yarn in blue, yellow, black, and white
Polyfil or stuffing
Yarn or Tapestry Needle
Lint Roller

NOTES
1. This pattern uses American Standard abbreviations.

2. Gauge is less important than stitch consistency.

3. This pattern is worked in spiral rounds, so do not turn.

The finished visitor measures approximately 4 inches tall, not including antenna.

Abbreviations Used In This Pattern
    ch            chain
    sc            single crochet
    st(s)        stitch(es)
    sc2tog     single crochet 2 together (form a decrease)
    slst          Slip stitch
    *              Repeat instructions in stars indicated number of times.

BODY

Join with slst to form ring.

Round 1: 7 sc into ring.
Round 2: 2 sc in each of next 7 sc. (14 sc)
Round 3: *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc* 7 times. (21 sc).
Round 4: *sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* 7 times. (28 sc).
Round 5: *sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc* 7 times. (35 sc).
Rounds 6 - 16: sc around.

Pause here to make and attach EYE and ANTENNA.

Round 17: *sc2tog. Sc in each of next 3 sc* 7 times. (28 sc).
Round 18:  *sc2tog. Sc in each of next 2 sc* 7 times. (21 sc).
Round 19: *sc2tog. Sc in next sc* 7 times. (14 sc).
Round 20:  sc2tog 7 times.

Fasten off. Stuff. Weave in end.

EYE
For the WHITE:
    ch 3, sl st to form ring.
    Row 1: ch 3. 14 dc into ring. Slst to top of turning chain.
    Row 2 ch 1. *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc* 7 times.
    Row 3 ch 1. Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. *sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* 5 times. Sc in last 3 sc.    Slst to turning chain. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

For the PUPIL:
    ch 3, slst to form ring.
    Row 1: ch 3. 14 dc into ring, slst to top of turning chain.
    Row 2: ch 1. *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc* 7 times.
    Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

For the SMALL WHITE DOT:
    ch 3. Slst to form ring.
    Row 1: 8 sc into ring. Fasten off.

Following the photo, sew the SMALL WHITE DOT to the PUPIL. Sew the PUPIL to the WHITE. Sew the whole thing to the front of the BODY.

ANTENNA
ch 11.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across.
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc across.
Row 3: ch 1, turn, sc across.
Fasten off. Use long tailing end to sew closed. Sew antenna to top of body.

For the ANTENNA BALL:
    ch 3, slst to form a loop.
    Round 1: 7 sc into ring.
    Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around.
    Round 3: Sc around.
    Round 4: sc2tog 7 times.
    Fasten off. Stuff. Sew ball to top of antenna.

FEET (make 3)
ch 3. Slst to form a loop.
Round 1: 7 sc into ring.
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around.
Rounds 3-6 Sc around.
Fasten off.




ASSEMBLY
    As you’ve already added the eye and the antenna, this is pretty simple. Lightly stuff the body and sew closed. Lightly stuff the feet and sew them to the bottom of the body. Voila, you’re finished!
