Supplies
Size F/3.75mm crochet hook
Small amount worsted weight yarn
Yarn or Tapestry Needle
Lint Roller

Notes
This pattern uses American Standard abbreviations.

*If you find yourself with “drifting cables” phenomenon, where everything seems to be drifting to the right as you work around, there is a simple solution to this. “Skip” the first hdc after each cable (you’re not supposed to be crocheting there anyway, but it can get confusing to switch back and forth from post to non-post stitches) and work an “extra” hdc into the first stitch of the upcoming cable. It will correct the drift. If you’re getting drift, it basically means you’re extra picky about where you form your stitches. ;)*

This pattern uses the Crab Stitch to finish the top of the case. Basically, if you’re a righty and normally work right to left, you’re going to work left to right along the top of the case. If you normally work left to right, reverse it. The crab stitch is a fantastic bordering/finishing stitch.

Finished Measurements / Gauge
The case measures 5.25 inches (about 13 cm) long by 2.75 inches (about 7 cm) wide. Slightly over 4 hdc to the inch.

Abbreviations Used In This Pattern
    ch           chain
    sc          single crochet
    st(s)       stitch(es)
    slst        Slip stitch
    hdc         Half-double crochet
fphdc      Front Post Half-double crochet: Rather than inserting your hook into the top of     the stitch (the way you would normally form a stitch), insert your hook from front to back under the stitch, then form the stitch as normal.
Fpdc       See above, but forming a dc.
    *       Repeat instructions in stars indicated number of times.

PATTERN
