I really, really shouldn't have made the chocolate cupcakes. We've already devoured half the batch. I had frozen the other half, along with some frosting, thinking that they would last for a while, but it is not to be. I'm afraid my pants won't fit by the end of the weekend.
I modified the Magnolia Chocolate Cupcake recipe by substituting 1/2 cup cocoa powder for 1/2c of flour, used cake flour, and used cream instead of buttermilk. I also should have added cinnamon to the recipe, because it would have tasted great. I'll have to try that next time. :)
