Pom Pom Pals Book

I was at Porter Square Books with Mr. Pepperberry on Saturday, and found this super cool kit.

Oh my god! What fun! How come I hadn't heard about this before? I've been looking for an excuse to buy a pom pom maker and hadn't really been able to justify it (I mean, really, I really could cut out a couple of cardboard circles) but this little kit certainly does it for me. These pompoms are sooooo awesome, they're like nothing I've ever seen before, and I'm really looking forward to making some pompom versions of my usual fare. Pompom slug!

Sorry, I'm incredibly excited about this, since it's a new craft I can try that's actually related to something I already do, and doesn't involve a huge investment in new equipment or space. I'll keep posted on my experiments. Woo!
